The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum help visitors to experience what it was like for soldiers and their families during the many battles and conflicts the Gloucestershire Regiment (The Glosters) took part in over the last 300 years. This regiment has been part of events which have changed history, and include the American Revolution, defeating Napoleon, the battle of Dunkirk, and the Korean war. Interactive displays, weapons, uniforms and souveniers show the courage, humour, traditions and sacrifices made by the soldiers. Come, see, be informed and enjoy what is on offer.
