The King Edward Mine was developed as a training mine, teaching best practice in the mining of tin. It produced tin up until World War I, when its operation was suspended. It resumed in 1920. Today, visitors can see the machinery and tools, now very rare, used by the miners over 100 years ago. See how tin was extracted from the ore in the processing plant.
